[OPIC Script] Hotel

안녕하세요!

아들 둘 아빠 직장인입니다. 올해 개인 목표로 블로그에 일주일 1번 글을 올리기로 했었는데, 이것도 쉽지 않네요!

제가 게을러서 그렇죠 뭐! 아니면 뭔가 생활하면서 불필요한 시간을 없애거나... 게으른 습관을 고치는 방법을 찾아서 블로그에 올려봐야겠습니다.

여하튼, 10.29 사태로 정국이 시끄럽습니다. 참 안타깝고 슬프고 화가 나고 여러 가지 생각이 나서 일상에 집중이 안 되는 요즘입니다. 언론 기사를 통해 사고 원인에 대한 내용이 나오고 있지만, 참 어른들이 정부가 국가의 책임이 큰 것 같습니다. 무엇보다 국가의 존재 이유에 대해서 중요성에 대해서 새삼 느끼게 되네요!

다시 한번 이번 참사로 고인이 된 분들에 깊은 애도를 표합니다.

오늘도 제가 블로그 중에서 글 수가 제일 많은 "english"에서 대해서 opic 주제에 대해서 개인적으로 작성했던 스크립트 공유드립니다. 재작년에 영어 교육받으면서 작성한 사항입니다. 그때 참 열심히 했던 생각이 드네요! 

오늘은 random topic인 "호텔" 관련해서 제가 수업시간에 작성한 스크립트 공유드립니다 오픽 기출문제 중에서 많이 나오는 문제에 대해서 작성한 사항입니다. 해당내용에 대해서 선생님 첨삭을 받은 부분입니다. 선생님이 중요하다고 말씀하신 부분은 굵은 글씨로 표시했습니다. 조금이나마 도움이 되셨으면 합니다.

 

1) Tell me what you typically do when you go to a hotel.

I usually use the hotel, when I go on a picnic with my family or go on a business trip. I always have breakfast served by the hotel. As soon as, I get to the hotel, I walk into the lobby and check in at the front desk. I get my room key. Then I come into my room, I first look around there what it is. That’s what I typically do at a hotel.

2) Tell me about how different the hotels are in your country compared to other hotels.

There are many western-style hotels in Korea. so they are not much different from hotels in other countries. But hotels in Korea offer something unique. When we make a reservation, we can get a package trip in Korea. packages are available not only for accommodation but also for nearby tourist attractions. There are many people who spend their vacations in hotels in Korea. So hotels have various convenient places such as kids' rooms, libraries, swimming pools, barbecue places and so on. I also enjoy my vacation once a month at the hotel with my family.

3) Tell me about the things you do when you arrive at a hotel. What is the first thing you do? What do you do when you check into a hotel?

As soon as, I go to the hotel, I park my car in the parking lot. I go to the lobby to move my luggage to pick up the cart. My wife goes to the front desk to check-in. I come back to the parking lot and load my luggage on the cart. After check-in, we take the key and go to the room. I first look around the room. And we look at the scenery outside the window. That’s what I first do at a hotel.

4) memorable hotel.

3years ago, I went on a trip to Vietnam with my family. We stayed at a resort-type hotel on the second day. There was a private place that had 3 bedrooms, a living room, and a swimming pool. The most special thing was that it was connected to the beach right in front of the room. We could swim on the beach and play in the sand with my kids. In the evening, We had a meal at a nice restaurant around the hotel. We had a good time there.
