안녕하세요! 작년 11월에 고밀도어학원 연수 다녀온지도 하나, 둘 ~ 5개월이 지났습니다. 전보다는 영어를 배우겠다는 열정은 약간 없어졌다는게 요즘 솔직한 심정입니다. 그래도 매일 아침 출근하면서는 미드 Shadowing은 꾸준하게 하고 있습니다. 영어를 잘하면 멋있어 보이고, 경제적 자유(외국계 취업) 달성하는데에도 도움이 될 것 같아 열심히 시작했는데, 영어 공부가 쉽지가 않네요! ㅠㅠ 참 언어 배우는것은 쉽지 않은 것 같습니다. 

활기찬 아침 시간인데 푸념만 늘어놓아 죄송합니다. 그래도 열심히 해야죠! 최소한 과거보단 불타는 열정은 약간 사그라들었지만, 여전히 저에게 영어는 매력적이고 넘고 싶은 목표입니다. 화이팅 ^^

오늘 소개할 주제는 '여행', "Travel" 입니다. 아마 오픽 주제 선택 시 많이 선택하실겁니다. 우리에겐 여행은 즐거운 것이고 추억도 많고 흥분되는 주제인것 같습니다. 저도 여유롭게 가족들과 여행다니고 싶어서 경제적 자유라는 목표 달성하기 위해 노력하고 있거든요. 

연수 받아면서 작성해본 Travel script 공유드리오니 시험 준비하시는데 많은 도움이 되셨으면 합니다. 하기 질문 사항 중 Covid-19에 관련 주제는 수업 중 선생님께서 직접 알려주신 문장으로 코로나바이러스 주제가 오픽 문제로 나왔을때 많이 활용하시면 많은 도움이 되실것으로 생각합니다. 선생님께서 중요하다고 말씀해주신 문장은 빨간색으로 표시를 했으니 참고하십시오. 오픽 기출문제 중에서 많이 나오는 문제에 대해서 작성한 사항으로 여행 주제는 하기 문제를 준비하시면 거의 대부분을 커버하실것으로 생각합니다. 

1) Last time travel 
A month ago, I went to a Hi-one resort in Jung sun city with my family. It took about 3 hours from my place by car. We first visited the famous bakery where they made a popular bread called “an-hung jjean bbang”. After eating it, we went to a traditional market to just take a look. We bought famous local food like fruits and something like that. At night, I took a walk with my kids in the resort. The next morning, my family rode a gondola to see the panoramic view from the mountain. In the afternoon, We went to the beach to play in the sand. And then we had a meal at a famous restaurant near the beach in the evening. It was a perfect day trip for my family.

2) memorable, difficult travel
Five years ago, we planned to go to Thailand. My wife and I were supposed to meet at the airport after work. I got to the airport first and waited for my wife. However, she found out that she left her passport at home. She didn’t have time to go back home and pick up her passport, so she decided to get on the next flight. Unfortunately, there was a penalty to change the ticket. It was a really ridiculous day for me.

3) prepare your trip, things we pack
Before traveling, I first plan an itinerary for my journey. I usually prepare to make a reservation at a hotel and book a flight. I search for information on the website to find good restaurants and tourist attractions. Also, I pack my baggage like my camera to take a picture, passports, proper clothes, swimsuits, medicine, comfort shoes to protect my ankle, toiletries, sunscreen, and so on.

4) do you think traveling abroad has become easier than before? Or it got even more difficult? Why it became easier or more difficult? Tell me what do you think whether traveling abroad has become easier or more difficult. (comparison)
Nowadays, it is much more difficult to go on an overseas trip. Because of covid-19, no countries allow tourists to visit them. Even if we can go to other countries, we have to be quarantined for 2 weeks. In the past, it was easy to go to other countries. If we wanted to go on an overseas trip, we could always make a reservation and we could go there anytime and anywhere.

5) do you think domestic traveling has become easier than before? Or it got even more difficult? Why it became easier or more difficult? Tell me what do you think whether traveling abroad has become easier or more difficult. (comparison)
In the past, we used a map and took more time to get to our destination. Nowadays, we can use GPS which shows you the fastest way. In the case of transportation, we didn’t have a lot of transportation. In the past For example, if you were going to Busan, it took 6 hours. In the present, we can see more different kinds of transportation. And there is an express train called KTX and it takes about 2 hours to get to Busan.

6) What people usually do? What people in Korea love to go? What do they usually do? Generally, speaking people love to overseas? What do they do overseas?
In my country, many companies give their employees long vacations in the winter. Many people want to go on an overseas trip at that time. I think that a warm place is the best to travel such as the Philippines, Saipan, Guam, and so on. They usually go swimming, go surfing and hang out inside the hotel. Most people like to enjoy eating famous food, go sightseeing to tourist attractions and taking pictures during overseas trips. Most people in my country like to travel abroad in winter.
