많이 나오는 오픽 기출문제에 대해서 작성한 사항으로 집 주제는 하기 문제만 준비하시면 거의 대부분을 커버하실것으로 생각합니다.

1) What kind of house chores do you do? How often do you do your house chores? Are you hate and like housework? Tell me using as many details.

Um, usually my responsibility is vacuuming, mopping the floor, and taking out the garbage. It takes only 2 hours to complete housework. Well, I do it once a week except taking out the garbage. My wife does mainly does cooking and takes care of two sons. The housework that I like is washing dishes. If I see clean dishes, I feel better. But I don’t like mopping the floor. Because I take a lot of energy. On weekdays, I sometimes work overtime, so I normally get things done once every two weeks.

2) Describe Housing

My place is located in goyang city. I have lived in my apartment for 2 years. My place has three bedrooms, a comfortable living room, a neat kitchen, a cozy study room and a playroom for children. My house is totally clean. Because My house was remodeled by the former landlord. We got rid of the wall between the living room and terrace. My favorite room is in the living room. Because I spent most of my time there playing with my kids. For example, I enjoy dancing with them or playing games together like Nintendo. Also, I often like to sit on the sofa while reading books. I am satisfied with my place as a whole. 

3) comparison(past vs present)

I grew up outside of the city. I lived in a small house with my parents. we rented the house. The bathroom was outside. There were many trees around. Now, I live in an apartment complex with my kids. my house is my own. The bathroom is inside which is great. There are a lot of convenient facilities like the movie theater, shopping mall, fitness center, and public office and so on. So I prefer my current house to my old one. Because It is so convenient to use public transportation at home.

4) memorable/problem house

My house had a problem with floor noise. Because my sons ran around my place from time to time. Our downstairs neighbor complained about the noise. They asked me to walk quietly. I immediately apologized to them for that. After that, I send a small gift to the downstairs neighbor every Christmas. Unfortunately, They were unhappy with my gift. I don’t know why our neighbor doesn’t like it. Currently, I often try to give a warning to my children about it.    

5) specific modern appliance or device, new appliance

Someone of they said clothes dryer. The dryer is so convenient. Because it can save time. We don’t have to hang dry clothes. We can just put your clothes in the dryer and that will save a lot of time. And that’s clean. Because we see a lot of fine dust there outside. And if you dry clothes outside of the house may be inside of the house, we are worried about the fine dust. Nowadays especially kids. So it’s clean. It doesn’t cost too much. Maybe it doesn’t save money but it’s very cost-effective. 

6) change furniture experience

I didn’t buy any furniture but I bought a dishwasher on the internet a couple of weeks ago. Because I work overtime on weekdays. My responsibility is washing dishes. I wanted to take some rest so I decided to get a new dishwasher for myself. It was delivered a few days later and I am so happy with the new appliance because I don’t have to do extra chores at home.
