[OPIC Script] Technology

이번주에도 과거에 열심히 공부했었던 Opic Topic 중 "Technology"에 대해서 작성한 스크립트 공유드립니다. Opic 주제 중 난감한 주제인것 같습니다. 한국어로도 설명하기 어려운 주제입니다. 기출문제에 대해서 수업 받으면서 원어민 첨삭받아서 작성한 스크립트입니다. 조금이나마 도움이 되셨으면 합니다. 

1) tell me about the technology you use in your daily life.

Um, well, of course my smartphone. I can’t imagine my day without it. It makes my life way easier. There are tons of things I can do on my phone. I usually listen to my favorite songs, watch some TV shows or YouTube videos, and shop online. A lot of the time, I do more than two things at the same time on my phone. Like, I listen to music while I read a novel. That can actually save my time and it’s very effective.

2) technology greatly helped you to complete a project at work?

I have to use the internet technology a lot for my projects. I have to set up an accounting processing automation system with my coworkers. In order to complete my projects, I need to communicate with my colleagues. For example, we communicate using e-mail and video conferencing. We also use internet to get useful information. It is so easy and fast to find information that we want. in conclusion, the internet technology helped me a lot to complete my projects.

3) experience, problem, related technology

When I drive, I always use the navigation function on my smartphone. Last thanksgiving day, I went to my grandmother’s house with my family by car. There was a terrible traffic jam. So I found a fast way by using my smartphone. The smartphone guided us from the highway to the local road. I decided to drove my car the way shown on the phone. But, The traffic jam had gotten worse than before. I found out that the navigation settings were wrong. It was set to go only on the local road. As a result, we arrived there two hours later than usual.
